CNC controls by SIEB & MEYER make an important contribution to the 5G expansion
The electronic components required for the 5G infrastructure create new demands on the PCB production which SIEB & MEYER can meet with its CNC controls. The current order situation is correspondingly good at the Lueneburg-based world market leader.
Despite the COVID-19 crisis, the expansion of 5G mobile networks is pushed forward worldwide. This is also reflected in increased investments in the associated production environment. "We are currently experiencing record sales in the business field related to our CNC control systems," says Markus Meyer, CEO of SIEB & MEYER AG. "The background is that we have over 45 years of experience in this field. Our leading CNC control technology ensures that the printed circuit boards (PCB) needed for the expansion can be manufactured with the required quality and productivity."
The CNC control types CNC 8x.00 and CNC 9x.00 developed by SIEB & MEYER enable machine manufacturers, today mainly located in Taiwan and China, to build machines for PCB drilling and routing at the highest level. The CNC control systems set standards in terms of usability, performance and connectivity. SIEB & MEYER considers itself to be a system supplier who provides its customers with a product perfectly adapted to the applications "PCB drilling and routing" - including the software interface, CNC motion controllers, frequency converters, servo amplifiers and last but not least the appropriate I/O terminals.
